08 May Website time machine

Doc Brown and Marty McFly may not have perfected the Flux Capacitor on the DeLorean, but there is such thing as a fully functioning time machine. It’s right here, on the internet.

The Wayback Machine lets you travel back in time to view webpages from years long past. It is an archive 456 billion web page updates, dating back to the first fully functioning site. The page titledWorld Wide Web was created by a computer scientist at CERN on August 21st, 1991 to help catalog data.

We were astounded with how far web design has come in the last 23 years. You can check it out for yourself here.

Make sure you investigate Apple’s website history too. It’s a real eye opener!
