BACKGROUND

Resolution Capital is an Australian Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) that was established in 2004. The company has enjoyed strong growth including expansion into global markets. The company were referred to DesignStreet.

 

BRIEF

DesignStreet was asked to develop and implement a complete rebrand of resolution Capital that would reinforce and support their positioning as a leading player in the RIT market and that would project the unique strengths of the company including their hands-on ownership and astute investment track record.

PROCESS
We researched the REIT industry and identified the major competitors and the colours, fonts and the look that prevailed across many of them. We developed three alternatives that would enable the company to position itself as a modern, dynamic company and capture the established history and success of the business and developed creative concepts for each. The preferred positioning and brand concept was a clear choice across the leadership team.

 

OUTCOMES
Using a combination of teal with a red highlight treatment, we created a logo and wordmark that provides a corporate look but that is modern, fresh and unique to the industry. The final identity is forward looking, well balanced and reinforces stability. The logo and identity was rolled out across the company and all its marketing materials, with the sub-colours of the brand used to differentiate the various Investment Fund brochures in a striking and innovative manner. The end result is a dramatic lift in brand perceptions. A new company website is the next step in the evolution of the company.
