04 May May the Fourth be with you

Today is International Star Wars Day. Every May 4th fans of the franchise dress up as popular characters while many cinemas run all-day marathons playing the saga from Episode I: The Phantom Menace to Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

To celebrate, an airline has teamed up with The Walt Disney Company to advertise the newest film in the saga; Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

Japanese company All Nippon Airways (ANA) has unveiled their newest aircraft, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner featuring the galaxy’s most loved and reliable droid: R2-D2.

“The R2-D2 motif is also a great match to ANA’s blue logo and design that appear on the main fuselage,” the company said.
“The R2-D2 character has a reputation for strong, reliable service — one of the hallmarks of ANA’s 5-star quality service.”

We can’t decide which is more exciting: The R2-D2 Jet or Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens hitting cinemas in December.
